Week 12 in Békéscsaba

Hi!

This week, one of our investigators took us to the local market. There was honey, cheese, lots of sausages, clothes, food, and many other stuff. Then we went to a restaurant and ate fish soup. It was very delicious, well seasoned, and one of the finest dishes I have had in Hungary. We also had a lesson with him and talked about the origin of the Book of Mormon and about Joseph Smith's story.

With another good investigator we had a very good lesson about the Word of Wisdom. He accepted this law and said that he is used to drink a glass of wine a day, but he could stop doing that even tomorrow! He is progressing well, he loves to learn, and is now reading from the book of Jacob in the Book of Mormon.

We had a couple of other programs with members this week and they went well too.

We also set apart time for tracking. We talked with an older gentleman at his door for a couple of minutes about the Book of Mormon and he said that he had guests at that moment, but he was going to find us. We then also visited an inactive member, but his house did not have a bell, so we left a letter.

This email was short. I hope next week will be more eventful.

All the best,

Elder Gonzalez
