Week 4 in Buda

Hi all,

In the office I continued the usual office duties like preparing welcome packets for incoming missionaries or letters for missionaries going home, baptismal records, managing referrals, talking with landlords, translating for the Simkins (senior missionary couple), and doing miscellaneous small tasks.

District meeting went well. We talked about charity and love, the Book of Mormon, and did role plays. We also gave RM (returned missionary) advice to Elder Evans which was fun and had pizza afterwards.

I had splits with the zone leaders on Friday so I was in the Pest side with Elder Roberts. We visited two less active members and it was a great program. They were very nice and even fed us with great food. At night we went to the St. Mattyias Church to see a performance by the Southern Utah Heritage Choir. It was really nice.

Last Saturday on P-day we went to an American restaurant. There was real American food like burgers, fries, milkshakes, and root beer! There was a Toronto maple leafs flag too. It was a retro style diner with a ton of old American stuff.

Transfers are coming up next week, so it will be a busy week!

Best,

Elder Gonzalez
