This was quite a busy week. We shared the Church's Easter message with many members and investigators and we focused our teachings especially on this message.
On Monday we went to many shops looking for a suit for Elder Szuch before he goes home. I even tried a few suits and Elder Szuch was able to find a good one.
In the middle of the week we got a happy surprise: the Family History Centre was built in our meeting house! The FM group bought two nice big Dell (touch screen) computers. We helped many members with their family trees and indexing, and we also worked on our own family history. The congregation is very excited about this center.
The general conference was a great experience. I liked when we sustained our prophet and apostles, and President Nelson spoke very nicely. I especially liked when he said: "Let this Easter Sunday be the deciding moment of our life." Now, instead of just commenting and writing things I liked, I wrote down questions or impressions that I received during the talks that I can deeply think about and improve over the next few days and weeks. I know this Church is true and that President Nelson is the prophet of God.
Easter holidays were fine here. On Monday we visited an older sister from the branch and then a family. In both places we sprinkled the ladies with perfume, as it is traditional here, and ate eggs, ham with horseradish, and sausages. It was very good.
Lots of love,
Elder Gonzalez
